Charity Partner - All We Can
Westleigh Methodist Primary School are a partner school for the Methodist charity ‘All We Can’. All We Can is an international development and emergency relief organisation. Focusing on those in greatest need, it is inspired by Christian principles, with its roots in the British Methodist Church. All We Can helps find solutions to poverty by engaging with local people and organisations in some of the world’s poorest communities to end the suffering caused by inequality and injustice. As an organisation rooted in Christian principles, All We Can considers advocacy as an extension of the Christian practice of supporting and loving our neighbours and doing justice in society through enabling positive, long-term transformation in some of the world’s poorest communities.
For our Harvest Appeal 2021, amazingly we raised £168.65 for the charity ‘All You Can’ through your kind donations for Harvest. Thank you so much for all your donations, this money will go to support The Next Steps Project which is working to support families in poverty in Zimbabwe to rebuild their lives after the devastation of Coronavirus.
As part of the Harvest Appeal 2020, the children are given a water bottle each and asked to enjoy the water and help raise money by putting coins in the empty bottles and bringing them back to school.
We are very proud of all the people who helped support this crucial appeal and charity and helped to raise money. This meant that Shanu has been able to afford a bike, meaning Sam no longer has to walk to school! Look at Sam with the booklet we sent him along with our donation!
This was only made possible with your help. Thank you for making all things possible, with God.
