Collage
In key stage one children use a range of materials to create collages from their imagination, including, fabric, plastic, tissue, magazines and crepe paper. Above, the children have selected materials with thought to create a textured collage of an outdoor scene. In key stage two, children experiment with different media such as mosaic tiles.
With supervision, the children select and use cutting tools and adhesives to create their collages. In year four, children have explored various mosaic artists and created their own unique mosaic designs.
