Digital Art
In key stage one, children use simple art programs to create lines and shapes, and explore different colours. In year two, children used the program Paint to copy and paste an image of different continents and edit the shapes with different colours. In key stage two, children use various digital art apps, including NGA Art Kids to experiment with the colours and textures of an image.
Children have been able to create their own landscapes in the style of Henry Fitz Lane and create their own still life images like Raphaelle Peale. They have been able to makes choices of filters to manipulate existing images.
